Property Title: Name this whatever you wish on Wisconsin BrokerNET. We suggest putting the name of the City in the Title, if you can.
Price: List Price
Acres: Round down to the nearest listed acre (1-15).
Docks: If the building has docks, list it, as this we have found is a common requirement. Otherwise, don’t enter anything.
Property ID.: Enter whatever ID you wish. This is user defined. So if you enter in “Madison111″, it will be found also in a Keyword Search for “Madison”. You don’t have to enter an MLS No., your call on Wisconsin BrokerNET.
Photo: You can enter in as many photos as you like. When clicking the “submit photo” button, we have found that clicking it on the left portion of the box works best, it is somewhat sensitive we have found.
Type: This is key, identify to your audience what type of property this is. Office, Industrial, Land, etc.
Address: Enter street number, so that Google Maps will locate this property. This is key, as Google Maps will show the location, so you need the number, street, city, state, and county.
Note: We suggest that you try and determine some key words that people may search on. This allows for search engines to find the property more readily. Use those key words in the property description, title, or where you think it is appropriate. For example, using a property address in the Title makes it difficult to find, unless you know that address. Use a broader title so that people searching for an “office, might find your property and take a look.
Longitude/Latitude: Not necessary to enter, unless you specifically know the numbers.
Description: User defined, enter what you wish. Keep in mind to use your keywords (e.g.: office, city, industrial, etc.)
Additional Features: More user defined text. Note that when viewing this property, “Additional Features” is shown after the Google Map, so if it want that information shown first, include it in your “Description:.
Listing Type, Basic or Enhanced: Note that pricing can change. When submitting a Basic listing, you will not be prompted to enter in any payment information. Only Enhanced listings are billed (at $30 per month). Most listings will be a Basic listings at no charge. To request a coupon or discount for an Enhanced Listing, go to our Contact Page.
Review Your Listing: If you hit the “Review Your Listing”, and nothing happens, that is the systems way of saying you left something out. It will not leave the page until all required fields (marked with a ” * “) are filled in. Go back, check your work look for the “starred” items, fill them in, and hit the button again.
*: If the field has a “*” next to it, it is a required field. If you don’t fill it out and try to submit, it will not go through and and an error message will show up next to the field that needs attention.
